Upon the recommendation of the Maritime Faculty of Kotor Council, Assistant Professor Dr. Zorica Đurović has been awarded the prestigious annual University of Montenegro Award for her exceptional contribution to the development of scientific research work and the international positioning of the University.
Assistant Professor Đurović stands out with her impressive scientific research achievements. As the lead author, during the previous academic year, she contributed to the publication of two papers in internationally recognized journals in the categories of SCI, SCIE, SSCI, A&HCI, demonstrating her expertise and high level of academic work. Additionally, her work published in a journal indexed in the SCOPUS database is another sign of her exceptional expertise and commitment.
She currently holds the positions of head of the study program in Maritime Electrical Engineering, Vice Dean for Development and Communication at the Maritime Faculty of Kotor, and is a member of the Organizing and Program Committee of the Kotor International Maritime Conference – KIMC, organized by the PFK.
Dr. Đurović’s contribution is also evident at international conferences, where she has published seven papers, further enhancing the reputation of the University of Montenegro in the academic world. She is also an active member of project teams on two international projects, further confirming her expertise and commitment on a global level.
Her membership in the Editorial Board for the international journal of the Maritime Faculty of Kotor – Journal of Maritime Sciences (JMS) attests to her influence in her field.
Her work and engagement represent an outstanding example of excellence and dedication to academic progress, the development of the University of Montenegro, and the scientific community as a whole.
