The 3rd Kotor International Maritime Conference (KIMC 2023) will be held from 26–29 November 2023 in Kotor, Montenegro.

The idea behind KIMC is to provide an ideal academic platform for researchers to present the latest research findings and describe emerging technologies and directions in maritime sciences and the shipping industry.

The conference aims to bring together leading academic scientists, researchers and scholars to exchange and share their experiences and research results. It also provides the premier interdisciplinary forum for scientists, engineers, practitioners and professionals from maritime companies to present their latest research results, ideas, developments, and applications.

The conference seeks to contribute by presenting novel research results, ideas, developments, and applications by putting a particular focus on maintaining and elevating the academic level in the field of maritime sciences.

In addition to the presentation of novel scientific findings, the Conference also encompasses various industrial and business presentations, bringing together scientists and the Blue Economy stakeholders.

“We are very proud of the fact that our Conference also provides our undergraduate and master students with the opportunity to present their papers. Led by the idea that young students, future researchers, should be involved in scientific research during their studies, we also leave space for them to express their ideas and enhance cooperation with teachers/supervisors within the Student Section. Here you can find more information on important dates, topics of interest, registration and abstract submission, the Book of Abstracts, paper submission, location, venue and accommodation. In case you need any further information, you can contact us via kimc@ucg.ac.me.”
